  1. The driploc style catches a lot of different applications, but we run into several fans that have a bigger fan than duct. Something that would work for those would be good to.

  2. The ones I have seen, and the driploc, are not good for the aluminum base fans, there is no support for the base when hinged open, over time the base will spit and fall apart.
    I build a 1 1/2″ sq tube frame that fits the base of the fan, with hinges welded to a galv adapter to fit the curb, you remove the fan place it on the curb screw it in place and to the fan.

  3. I good solid fast hinge kit, that fits 80% of fans with easy installation will be a good marketing product. That’s what is great about the driploc, they can be installed in about 3min. With minimal tools.

  4. Seen too many fans dumped and busted due to cheap hinge kits or improper install!

  5. Omni containment systems have the strongest hinges that I have seen. Pretty easy to install too.

  6. You can make the same hinge like drip loc for about 8 dollars a set if you have a basic Mig welder
